Two friends from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay - Rahul and Somansh - Final Year Mechanical Engineering Program students are among the top scorers for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019. Both cracked the exam. On their first attempt. Rahul Manglik of Delhi scored 99.99 percent while Nagpur's Somansh Chordia scored 100 percent.

Speaking to Indian Express.com, Manglik said, “I was introduced to management in my class operation analysis. I was interested in business studies and management and decided to attend CAT. I started making with my friends last semester. "

As their flow shifted from engineering to trade, CAT Topper said, “With business management, we can reach a large number of people. There are also business applications these days in technology tools, so I decided to attend Cat. "When I was studying for Cat for January, I started taking Max by August and by October I was completely focused on Cat 2019 and also practicing through previous year papers."

Entrance test for admission into Cat B-schools. Over 2.09 lakh students have appeared for the examination this year. A total of 10 candidates scored 100 percent in the CAT 2019 exam. The top 10 candidates who received the highest percentage overall were men and engineering/technology background. Six of them came from IITs, two from NITs, one from Jadavpur University.

The CAT score is valid for three years and is used for admission in B-schools including IIMs. The CAT 2019 exam was conducted on November 24, 2019, at 376 exam centers spread across 156 cities and the answer keys were released on November 29, 2019.
